IRIS OpenLearning is the easy way to introduce new staff to your practice and the IRIS software, ensuring your workforce are completely up to speed with the latest features and enhancements.

Surveys suggest that you can save as many as 75 hours, per user, per month by going through IRIS OpenLearning, our simple to use online training portal.

Available anywhere and anytime, staff can learn at their own pace, in the office or remotely, reducing the downtime and lost billable hours.

OpenLearning delivers over 190 CPD accredited courses, across 20 products and the list is growing!



Striving to deliver new and updated content

Training has been added for the following:

  • IRIS Fixed Asset Register - Reports and Importing Data module
  • IRIS Docs - Filing and Saving documents, Searching, eMail Manager and Admin user modules
  • IRIS OpenSpace - Client Onboarding, Client Account Configuration, Getting Started modules
  • IRIS Practice Management - Creating a new client module
  • IRIS Time & Fees - Exporting Data module
  • IRIS Business Tax - Mulitple Trades, Group Relief modules

All new content comes with downloadable and printable ‘how to’ guides and scripts*, aiding the learning process.

 To start using OpenLearning couldn't be easier.

  1. To register for OpenLearning click here.
  2. Click the link to create your profile.
  3. Enter a few details; name, email address, company reference number, a password and click Submit.
  4. Your request will be processed and when approved, an email sent.
  5. Click the link in the email to access the training.



Accessing and launching the training

Training is available as individual modules or curriculums (consisting of multiple modules taken in sequence). Cherry pick the modules you want to learn about and add them to your training record, from where you can launch the training and access the How to Guides and scripts, if required.

From the Learner Home page:

  1. Browse the training using the left right arrows.
  2. Click the image or title of the training.
  3. The duration of the module displays as does a brief description of the subject(s) covered.
  4. Click Request.

The training is added to your training record and can be taken at any time.

Note: There are no restrictions on the training available or the number of times that training can be taken. At the end of each module or curriculum, complete the short assessment to receive CPD accreditation.





Ongoing maintenance

Our commitment to deliver quality training continues as we review and update existing modules and deliver training for product enhancements and new fetaures.
